Depending on where your accommodation is located (in the city center or in the countryside), your tour guide will come to meet you at your hotel or apartment in town, or you will meet her at a fixed meeting point where our driver will drop you off after picking you up at your villa in the countryside.
You will have a full-day or half-day tour with your tour guide to learn about this fantastic town. On the full-day tour, you will have a walking tour with a guided visit not only of Siena but also of the Cathedral, its wonderful Crypt, the municipal building of Piazza del Campo, the "Palazzo Comunale" with its incredible frescoes by Simone Martini.
You will have the time to appreciate each corner of the city and to know all you need to know about Siena. Your guide will also give you useful information about what to buy and where, as well as about all the tourist traps to avoid.
In the half-day tour, you will be guided in a time machine, from medieval times to now, to discover unknown views, little corners, and legends. You will also see the Museum of a Contrada: a private and secret intimate place, the heart of each Contrada (there are 17 in Siena, each with its territory, church, horse stable, and government) that you could not visit by yourself.
Your tour can end after 3 hours or continue with our driver who will pick you up at 2:30 PM to guide you to San Gimignano or to visit a wonderful winery located in a medieval castle, where they produce an amazing Super Tuscan Cabernet wine. Here, you can have a private guided visit of the castle and winery, personally conducted by the owner, who will welcome you personally. After visiting the cellars, you will have a wine tasting of her 4 wines.
